Full day course comprising a mixture of seminars and hands on practicals using 3D printed and extracted teeth.

Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the bacterial origin of pulpal diseases
  • Detecting and diagnosing pulpal diseases – new spectrum of pulpitis
  • Protecting the pulp in everyday practice
  • Access pulp chambers and canals with increased confidence
  • Understand the theory of cleaning and shaping root canals
  • Practice using ProTaper and other systems
  • Understand how to obtain a working length and how this relates to the anatomical apex
  • Understand the options available for irrigation 
  • Practice using thermal obturation techniques and cold lateral condensation

  • Diagnosis: Irreversible pulpitis! Endo or not to endo?
  • Access and Orifice Location: TEC vs CEC vs Ninja
  • Instrumentation: Rotary instrumentation
  • Irrigation: Bleach & other irrigants / delivery

  • Endodontic Restoration: In and outs of coronal coverage
